Sharing Good Practice Conferences
The Eastern Region has been running regional Sharing Good Practice days for Coaches since 2016. The conferences have been themed towards either sliding seat or coastal rowing and have covered a variety of subjects ranging from indoor rowing, different technique, hygiene, fitness, health and coaching structures.
The conferences vary in location to ensure maximum coverage of our large geographical area.
The latest Sharing Good Practice was on the 29th September at The Hive in Ely with a focus on Masters rowing. Presentations and activities covered everything from teaching masters to row, what to do straight after an LTR, good nutrition, making the boat go faster and coxing.
