Events still running in the East
In this new era of extreme weather and cancellations we are still offering racing here in the East.
In particular, and still open for entries there is Norwich Head on 21st February. This offers racing for all flavours of crews over both 1,900m and 5,000m on the Yare – one of my favourite pieces of water. This means ideal practice for Tideway races both long and short. The cakes and buns are also very good.
Full details are on this poster or from the club’s website – entries close on Saturday so NOW IS THE TIME.

And then for juniors in Regional clubs we have the Eastern Region JIRR Trials to be held at Peterborough on 8th March.
Eastern Region aims to send the strongest possible team while giving as many athletes as possible the chance to compete at a national level – an opportunity for our youngsters to experience a higher level of racing and get a taste for winning.
Notice of Competition is here – again, entries are coming in very nicely so it[s a good time to get yours in!
